| Families United Network (F.U.N.) begun in 2005 at the request of a local mom with two Vietnamese children, this is a friendship and support group for families of color, mixed race/ethnicity, or other under-represented minority in our community. With input from the families, PCTN plans gatherings where adults and children can have fun, share experiences and gain strength and esteem through mutual support. Please contact the Center if you would like to join in. |

Community Outreach PCTN's overall strategy has been to work with and within organizations and institutions that are established and accepted by the Paradise Ridge communities, both to help us in our work, and to expand the reach and experience of said groups. The groups include: Paradise Boys and Girls Club, Paradise Unified School District, Paradise Parks and Recreation District, Paradise Branch of the Butte County Library, and the Paradise Family Resource Center. In addition, we consult with other charitable organizations and non-profits, social workers, school counselors and teachers, and therapists to give us a clearer perception of the population targeted by intolerance. |
